Our Mission
The GL Foundation exists to transform lives through the power of soccer. We are committed to developing youth athletes while creating real opportunities for underserved communities.
Through elite training, mentorship, and scholarship programs, our mission is to lift both players and communities, building confidence, leadership, and hope through sport. We proudly operate under Be-Equal.org, our official nonprofit fiscal sponsor, ensuring that your donations and grants are fully tax-deductible. Be-Equal.org is a verified Utah 501(c)(3) organization, allowing individuals, families, foundations, and corporate sponsors to support our mission with confidence.
We believe in developing the whole athlete. The GL Foundation offers professional-level coaching, mental conditioning, and mentorship programs that prepare young people to succeed—both on the field and in life. Our training emphasizes: Confidence & Discipline, Team Leadership, Sportsmanship, and Community Responsibility
We target youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering full or partial scholarships to join our developmental programs. Our goal is simple: to remove financial obstacles and open doors to a brighter future. Through partnerships, grants, and donors like you, we are creating access to world-class soccer and community building initiatives that uplift families and neighborhoods. All donations go directly to scholarship funding, facility access, and mentorship program expansion.
Our seasonal camps and events are more than just athletic experiences — they’re platforms for transformation. Hosted across Utah and expanding nationally, these programs offer young players the opportunity to train with elite coaches, develop leadership skills, and build lasting friendships in a safe, inspiring environment. From weekend workshops to full-week intensive training camps, our events are designed to: Develop technical and tactical soccer skills Teach mental focus, goal setting, and teamwork Engage youth in community service projects Inspire with guest speakers including pro players and coaches
Through the generous support of donors and sponsors, we can offer free or reduced-cost access to youth who otherwise could not afford to attend.
